Your chance to own Rogue -- A Jim Antrim designed Ultimate 24. Rogue will remind you why you got into sailing! She is a quick, performance sportboat -- a total rush to sail. Lightweight, trailerable, and ramp launchable -- spry and dexterous in any coastal conditions. Chosen as 2003 Sailing World “Boat of the Year,” Rogue has countless features unprecedented on a boat her size. This is the boat you have been looking for at price lower than you dreamed possible!
On deck -- Rogue is designed for performance sailing
Quality materials, components, and precise placement maximize crew speed and efficiency -- you’re never left thinking “I wish that was over here.”
Well-matched rig and sails -- the jib and mainsail double-team to deliver wind energy in all conditions.
Engineered carbon mast and swept-back spreaders allow shroud and forestay tension to govern mast flex and shape the main throughout wind range.
4-to-1 tackle system running down the mast -- a single adjustment controls the shrouds and power in both sails (much easier than fumbling with a wrench to adjust turnbuckles).
Two-to-one jib sheets lead from cabin-top tracks to the weather-side winch on the cabin.
Asymmetric spinnaker set on a deck-mounted sprit.
Traveler controls position allows helmsman to adjust traveler whether hiking out or sitting inboard.
Controls for spinnaker sets and jibes are perfect -- spinnaker halyard, tack line, pole extension line, and jib furler all lead to forward end of the cockpit.
Halyard tails fit in a mesh tail bag under companionway hatch -- eliminating wet halyards below or a maze of spaghetti in the cockpit.
Port and starboard cabin-top vang cleats and a hatch-launching spinnaker bag.
Below deck -- the cabin is clean, sleek, uncluttered and engineered for optimal sailing efficiency.
Interior bulkhead-free design keeps it roomy, accessible and a logistical dream.
Bunks four; lavatory; countertops and lockers incorporate mast-support beam and shroud-chainplate that separate V-berth from aft berths.
Mast-support structure is molded carbon fiberglass beam with side pylons (not compression post), providing more interior space and strength.
Molded plastic access doors on all storage areas.
Hull and deck have handlaid PVC foam and balsa cores, layered by gel-coated, vacuum-laminated fiberglass.
Kevlar, S-glass, and unidirectional carbon fiber reinforce critical load points throughout.
Retracting keel and transom-hung rudder allow boat to be ramp launched -- transition time is under 5 minutes. Keel lift crane stows in compartment under cockpit.
Complete electrical system -- uncommon for this size boat -- includes: interior lights, sealed gel-cell battery, main battery switch, switch panel, masthead running lights, and a solar panel charger.
Condition -- Rogue is in pristine condition.
Never damaged -- so no repair scars to wonder about.
All deck fittings remain in original position -- so no botched modification concerns.
No blistering, micro-cracks, or soft spots -- anywhere.
Mast is solid, sound, and true.
Professionally faired hull, keel, and rudder -- smooth, no ripples, optimum laminar flow -- blemish free!.
Deck gear is up-to-date and positioned for racing.
Rouge comes with everything you need to start winning races: a three year-old trailer, a 3.5 HP outboard and a 6 HP outboard, sails and rigging in excellent condition, and additional sails. Contact for an appointment to see Rogue.
