Chris-Craft built many of these Sportsman runabouts between 1946 tom 1951. They are now considered a very popular antique/classic cruiser. This particular 1951 Sportsman has been in the very popular Lakes Region of New Hampshire. For most of its life, she has been on Squam Lake in Central New Hampshire.
Squam Lake is well-known for being the lake used in the movie "On Golden Pond". This particular boat has been and is currently owned by the same owners of The Inn at Golden Pond.
This is a Freshwater boat and has always been in the freshwater lakes of New Hampshire. She is a beautiful boat with rich history and provides a very smooth ride as most of these classic wood boats do.

Condition
The upholstery is in great condition. The engine has always been very well maintained and runs great. The boat is used to take guests of the Inn on cruises and has always been dependable. Transom was redone last year The flooring has been upgraded to marine grade plywood with Grass Matt carpets installed last year. Engine hours are unknown
