Descripción
49 Passenger vessel
This money maker has a current COI for 49 Pax and 10 crew. Contact seller at 949-488-2828. See a virtual tour of Lily at https://www.dolphinsafari.com/our-fleet/lily-whale-watching-boat/
"Lily" was originally commissioned in 1975 and totally rebuilt in 1995 INCLUDING A NEW HULL, (so tecnically it is a 1995), and then again refitted in 2012 when it was turned into a 49 passenger COI boat by its current owner. This custom power catamaran was designed and built in Santa Ana, California, by an innovative aerospace company, 'Tolo Inc.', involved in all aspects of leading edge technology supporting military, R & D, and commercial programs. Initially 48 feet in length, the vessel was developed in concert with a new high load outdrive system targeted for larger high-speed craft. Built from all of the best materials available, the vessel spent a number of years in the water pointing up obvious advantages to its design and construction. She was then pulled for redesign to a larger scale. Re-outfitting from bow to stern included new hulls, adding length and depth. Re-commissioned in 1995, she is now 62.5 feet in length, incorporates a semi tunnel drive system, and 74000 pounds in displacement. All power and electronics were replaced with the latest equipment and all interiors had been redesigned and upgraded. Since the late 1990?s she has spent time cruising the coastal waters from the east cape of Baja, California to the south, to most recently, the frigid waters of Glacier Bay, Alaska.
Some of the features of this fine yacht are: Live Bait tank, 600gpd watermaker, 2-generators and two inverters, dry stack exhaust, large inflatable w/davit, two separate Air Conditioners, huge in-floor cold plate freezer, non-skid decks, dual autopilots, oil lubricated shaft seal, absolutely DRY bilges that have NEVER had salt water in them, huge, full length storage under floors of each hull, separate water heater for galley, electric "dumb waiter" for delivering food from galley to the pilothouse, 460-hp turbo Lugger diesel engines, located near the center of the boat, with near horizontal shafts, chain locker with chain with feed tube to re-located the chain at the lowest point of the hull, underwater lighting in stern and much more.
Fuel consumption is amazing, allowing for 1000 mile range at 14 knots and 1500 miles at10 knots!!
This boat is in good condition. The wrap on the boat was recently removed and boat painted. It is ready for use or put another wrap on it.
"Lily" would make a perfect excursion boat for Southern California whale watching or dinner cruises or Northwest boat for an extended cruises to Alaska (the original owner went on 4 months cruises with "this boat") or a fantastic dive or fishing boat. Live aboard it its a small apartment or charter it out or both.
