Hatteras 53 Yacht Fisherman

“Wild Hare” is the best deal on a classic Hatteras Yachtfish.  She is a project boat and is being placed on the market for a short period of time in the event someone is looking to repower before we start investing in repairing the current power plant. The boat ran 2 years ago, when it was seized they docked it in the miami river and it hasn’t been started since. Batteries will need to be replaced and it’s possible they start or they may need additional work. She will need a generator and A/C work as well.  

The Hatteras 53 Yachtfish combines all the comforts of a motoryacht with the added versatility of a cockpit. Constructed on the same single chine hull as the 53 Motor Yacht and Convertible models the 53 Yachtfish shares the reputation for being a very good ride although she can be wet. “Wild Hare” has the more popular three state room interior floorplan. As with most Hatteras Motoryachts, the engine rooms are split by the central passageway leading out from the galley.

”Wild Hare“ was a US Government Seized vessel and she has been sitting for a few years.  He exterior is in decent condition. There is only one known soft spot on the starboard forward flybridge.  The hard top is amazing and recently added.  There are no electronics on the lower helm but a newer Garmin GPS are VHF installed although untested because the batteries are completely dead.  There are 8- 8D batteries but haven’t replaced them in the event someone want to repower her.
