34' Egg Harbor Sedan Cruiser hull completely rebuilt as a center console with new stringers, deck, bulkheads, aluminum tower, electrical, electronic systems and 2019 Suzuki outboards.
HULL CONSTRUCTION TYPE: Modified-V, planing type. The hull is constructed of a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) laminate, finished with a vinyl wrap above and antifouling paint below the waterline. The decks are constructed of an FRP cored laminate, finished with paint and a non-skid texture along the working surfaces. The cosmetic condition of the superstructure was found to be in adequate condition. The partitions, bulkheads and hull to deck joints were inspected where accessible and found to show no visual signs of weakness due to flexing or separation of their fastenings. Hull to deck joint was of the overlap type construction, with stainless fasteners, observed in the chain locker, forward.
EXTERIOR HULL: Blue vinyl wrap topsides, appears recent.
BULKHEADS: Athwartships reinforcement enhanced by resin coated plywood bulkheads bonded to the hull with FRP (fiber reinforced plastic). Appears serviceable where sighted.
STRINGERS: Hull stiffness provided by FRP encapsulated longitudinal stringers. Complete inspection not possible due to extremely limited access. Serviceable where observed.
TRANSOM: FRP transom with bolted on aluminum Armstrong motor bracket/platform.
BILGE: The bilge areas were finished with a white paint where accessible and were found to be generally clean and dry.
CHAIN LOCKER (DRAINAGE): The chain locker is forward with drainage to bilge.
LIMBER HOLES: Limber holes are of adequate size and clear where sighted.
MOISTURE CONTENT: A moisture meter was used in the inspection of this vessel. No abnormal readings were observed.
DECK CONSTRUCTION TYPE: Molded and cored FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) with paint and non-skid surface. Swim platform and gunwales are finished with a Sea-Dek type overlay. Two aluminum watertight hatches provided access to the aft bilge and forward bilge. Two plastic hatches aft provide access to the fuel tanktops.
COCKPIT: Cored FRP with paint and non skid, serviceable. Seating port and starboard aft, securely mounted.
DECK FITTINGS BOW PULPIT (BOW RAIL): Welded stainless steel bow rail mounted to the gunwales, serviceable and secure.
VENTILATION: Center console design, open vessel.
SCUPPERS: Located port and starboard aft corners, 2" x 4" scuppers through the transom and directly overboard.
MOORING CLEATS: Eleven stainless steel mooring cleats, pop up design, thru bolted and serviceable.
WINDLASS/GROUND TACKLE SYSTEM: Two galvanized fluke type anchors with galvanized chain rodes and marine grade nylon rodes, stored in the forward bilge area. Serviceable.
GRAB RAIL: Console and T-top mounted, serviceable.
CENTER CONSOLE MATERIAL: FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) molded center consoles, both upper and lower, with custom welded tubular aluminum tower, and lashed on blue canvas type material buggy-top. Backing plates were installed at the forward tower leg mounts only. Aluminum railing surrounds the tower helm, serviceable. Tower ladder rungs are grooved for non-skid.
SEATS: Welded aluminum leaning posts with white vinyl cushioning, serviceable.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES FENDERS: A minimal array of fenders were observed on board the vessel at the time of survey.
DOCK LINES: A minimal array of dock lines were observed on vessel at the time of survey, it is suggested that additional lines be obtained for travel/storm prep.
FISHING EQUIPMENT WASH DOWN SYSTEM: Raw wash down hose bib is available starboard aft cockpit Pressure provided by 12 volt pump located aft cockpit. Raw water supply was aft bilge, found to be a bronze, operable seacock with securely clamped hose.
ROD HOLDERS: Gunwale mounted, and aft railing at the tower, serviceable.
FISH BOX(S): Molded FRP fish box mounted aft of the leaning post.
OUTRIGGERS: Taco Grand Slam fold out and telescoping outriggers mounted at the T-Top, serviceable.
PROPULSION MAIN ENGINES TYPE: Twin 2019 four stroke outboards by Suzuki rated at 300 hp each. Port Model: DF300AP, Starboard Model: DF300AP, Port Serial: 30002P-912201, Starboard Serial: 30002P-912211, Port Hours: 14, Starboard Hours: 14.
INDICATED HOURS: Surveyor has no firsthand knowledge of actual engine hours, hours shown are from the installed meters only.
THROTTLE CONTROLS: Suzuki digital monitors and electronic engine controls. Operable.
EMERGENCY SHUT DOWN: Lanyard type located at the helm console, operable.
ENGINE MOUNTS AND BED: Mechanical fasteners thru aluminum motor bracket/transom assembly and elastomeric compound, serviceable.
EXHAUST SYSTEM: Thru hub, outboard exhaust.
ENGINE ALARMS: Low oil pressure alarm and over heat warning audible at helm station with keys on/engines off. Start in gear protection was verified to be operable. Appears serviceable.
ENGINE SHUT DOWN: Key switch and push buttons, clearly marked at helm station.
COOLING SYSTEM TYPE: Raw water, direct cooling. Adequate water flow was observed at the tell-tales while idling dockside.
FUEL SYSTEM MAIN ENGINE(S) FUEL SYSTEM FUEL TYPE: Gasoline.
MATERIAL: The main tanks appear to be galvanized steel.
NUMBER OF TANKS: Two (2) TANKS CAPACITY: Reported total capacity is 300 gallons. * MANUFACTURING LABEL: [C1] None sighted.
FILL PIPE LOCATIONS: Port and starboard gunwales aft, clearly marked for GAS.
FILL PIPE GROUNDED: There was a tank to fill pipe grounding wire observed for the gasoline tanks.
FILL PIPE MATERIAL: USCG Type A2, double clamped and serviceable.
FUEL LINES AND FITTINGS: USCG A1 and dates ranging from 2014 to 2019, where sighted appeared serviceable.
VENT LOCATION: Topsides amidships, flame screens were sighted.
SHUT-OFF VALVE: None sighted. ANTI-SIPHON VALVE: Tank supply fittings, serviceable.
FUEL FILTERS: Both remote mounted fuel/water separator type and engine mount spin on/off type.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (D.C. SYSTEM) VOLTAGE: Lead acid and AGM battery powered 12 volt system. Two group 27 lead acid batteries securely mounted port and starboard aft cockpit below the seating. Batteries were dated 2017 and no capacity labeling was observed. One AGM battery, securely mounted starboard aft cockpit, model FT930-65. The battery was labeled 950CCA, no dates were observed.
PANEL: The main DC panel was located at the lower console. Overcurrent protection was provided by inline DC fusing.
TYPE CONNECTORS/WIRING: Round, captive type connectors where observed except as noted. Serviceable. Wiring was Marine Master Boat Cable, stranded copper/tin plated where sighted.
ROUTING/SUPPORT: Well supported and secured where sighted. CHARGING SYSTEM (ALTERNATOR): Engine driven alternators, operable. * MAIN BATTERY SWITCHES: [B1] Two rotary type main battery switches located adjacent to the batteries.
GENERATORS AND INVERTERS TYPE: This vessel is not equipped with a generator or inverter.
STEERING SYSTEM STEERING SYSTEM TYPE: Hydraulic, by SeaStar, (Teleflex) with two stations, lower console and tower console.
LINES AND FITTINGS: Reinforced flexible hose, with metallic fittings. Serviceable with no leaks noted.
MOUNTING: Cylinder and ram actuator are well secured to the starboard outboard motor with stainless tie bar connecting port outboard motor, serviceable.
ELECTRONICS AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT ELECTRONICS AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT VHF: None installed, highly recommended.
GPS/PLOTTER/SOUNDER: One each, 12" Garmin GPSMap XSV and GPSmap 7608 displays, GPS, plotter, sounder, engine instruments, powers up.
STEREO: Boss audio receiver m/n MGR450B at lower helm, powers up. Extensive system with three Timpano amplifiers located below the console and PRV speakers throughout.
COMPASSES: 4" Ritchie at the tower, serviceable.
ANTENNAS: All antennas sighted appear to be well mounted and serviceable.
FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: Component of the Suzuki digital displays and analog gauges.
TRIM TABS: Lenco trim tab electric system with rocker switches at the helm. Operable.
THRU-HULLS THRU-HULLS: NOTE: Above the water line thru hulls are in the immediate vicinity of the appliance or fixture they serve, all were inspected and found to be serviceable.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT (UNITED STATES COAST GUARD) NUMBER AND TYPE OF PFD'S: Four USCG type I, stored inside forward bilge. Serviceable condition with reflective tape.
NUMBER OF THROWABLE PFD'S: One USCG type IV, boat cushion sighted.
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: [B2] Two USCG size BC1. Gauges showed charged.
VISUAL DISTRESS SIGNALS: [B3] Flares in a waterproof container with an expiration date of 2018. SOUND DEVICES: Hand held horn, appears serviceable.
NAVIGATION LIGHTS: Anchor and navigation lighting was found to be operable. "NO OIL DISCHARGE" PLAQUE: None Sighted.
TRASH DISPOSAL PLACARD: None sighted.
AUXILIARY SAFETY EQUIPMENT LIFE RAFT: None sighted, highly recommended for offshore cruising. E.P.I.R.B.: None observed, highly recommended.
BILGE WATER ALARM AND SAFETY SWITCHES: [C2] No operable high bilge water alarm system sighted.
SEARCH LIGHT: None sighted, highly recommended.
FIRST AID KIT: None sighted, highly recommended.
REBOARDING MEANS: Telescoping stainless steel swim ladder at platform, serviceable.
BILGE PUMPS LIST: Two 12 volt electric bilge pumps with remote float switches, located aft bilge, operable. Rule 2000 models. Discharge hoses were secure and serviceable. NOTE: Indicators for automatic bilge pump operation were sighted to be an indicator light in the switches at the helm, operable.
