A SLEEK AND INNOVATIVE DESIGNWith her new visual identity, the 40 immediately stands out. While faithful to the image of Lagoon’s "DNA", a new style is born: an individual, streamlined and accomplished design depicts her large portholes and panoramic view. NEW GENERATION RIGGING: PERFORMANCE AND SIMPLICITYA symbol of the new generation Lagoons, the 40 is endowed with advanced performance features: a VPLP hull structure and an increased sail area provide a better sail surface area / displacement ratio. The decision to position the mast step further aft, which stems directly from VPLP's experience in competitive sailing, provides this catamaran with multiple advantages:A self-tacking jib for simplified manoeuvres.- A large forward triangle for a wider choice of downwind sails: a guarantee of performance.- A shorter boom for ease of manoeuvring.- A main sail, with a high aspect ratio, enabling the capture of better airflow in the upper parts of the sail for optimised performance.- The re-centring of weight, thanks to aft positioning of rigging, considerably reduces pitching. A SLEEK, MODERN DESIGN.This new member of the Lagoon family has style and a strong personality. While keeping a family resemblance and retaining the main features of the latest generation of Lagoons, it shows us a new path: unhurried evolution, a new "organic" approach, in search of harmony between living space and man.An elegant silhouette, flowing curves which, by virtue of a noticeable acceleration of the lines in the bows and in the new coachroof design, emphasise the powerful and dynamic nature of this new model… A VPLP design naturally, a guarantee of performance under sail! A COSY COCKPIT, WITH SMOOTH, ELEGANT CURVES- a single level from the aft platform to the saloon: a structural "revolution",- entirely new ergonomics that ensure excellent use of space and ease of circulation on board,- a large glazed door that occupies the entire width of the coachroof, and provides access to the unparalleled internal volumes.- The suspended steps at the transom provide a whole new perception of the boat: a continuous, wide and inviting platform, worthy of a large vessel. AN INGENIOUS DECK LAYOUTThe mast moved further aft and the self-tacking jib, a guarantee of performance under sail and ease of handling, provide the ability to bring all operations together in one place. AN ERGONOMIC HELMING STATIONAt the coachroof bulkhead, offering many advantages:direct communication between the cockpit and saloon, improved circulation, forward and aft of the helming station, direct access to the coachroof for easier access to the boom, a composite bimini with a sliding panel to ensure a good view of the sails, a closure panel or helming station safety when under way. ACCOMODATIONS3 or 4 double cabins … and what cabins! Island double beds for the aft cabins and beds with side access for the forward cabins, the aft cabins benefit from a bathroom with a separate shower, very large windows in the cabins offer excellent illumination and magnificent views of the surroundings, the vertical glazing in the coachroof provides saloon illumination: a well-lit, comfortable environment that is perfectly balanced between the galley and saloon areas, the U-shaped galley, fully fitted with broad work surfaces and extensive storage space, is oriented towards the external cockpit. The attention devoted to detail and the use of the volumes make this new interior a unique and enjoyable living space.

  7. CNB 88

    CNB 88

    2022
    A demanda

The first model to be developed and built by Solaris, the CNB 88 is the latest addition to the CNB family. Naval architect Philippe Briand and designer Jean-Marc Piaton have conceived this yacht as the big sistership to the CNB 76, in the same family spirit, with the same simplicity of use but with larger volumes and a refinement advanced to the tiniest of details. The vocation of this yacht is to offer a vast capacity for receiving guests, thanks to her spacious owner's cabin and three equal-sized guest cabins. The crew also enjoys generous volume in the aft part of the hull, with 2 double cabins that can be equipped with separate or double beds. A dedicated access has been arranged via the galley for optimal crew operation.   With her exclusive marine interior, thanks in particular to the woodwork that leaves no visible joins, the CNB 88 takes the concept of the elegant ocean-going yacht even further. Equally at ease in on transatlantic passage as on the racecourse, her balance at the helm is the result of the stability of her hull shape and her stiffness under sail. Her cockpit gives the impression of floating in the air on a minimalist structure, yet guarantees uncompromising comfort with high backrests, multiple storage spaces and excellent protection. There is no longer a boundary between inside and outside, as the saloon is bathed in natural light. The windows of the famous Briand-designed coachroof are as magical as ever, and to enhance the feeling of space, a glazed strip has been fitted overhead in the ceiling and the aft bulkhead has been made transparent. A modern and balanced hull with a wide stern and taut lines, luxurious and seaworthy layout, all define the CNB 88. The CNB 88 meets the challenge of offering everything you would expect from a boat over 90 feet in length while remaining very easy to sail.

    CNB 76

Inaugurating a new-generation coachroof when she was launched, the CNB 76 revolutionised the relationship with space and the sea.Who would guess that behind these flowing lines there is more than two metres of standing headroom in the saloon, from which there is a perfect view of the outside world?Philippe Briand devoted all his know-how to the CNB 76, creating a yacht of masterful proportions, suited to all roles.Designed from the outset to be operated by a small crew, she can also comfortably accommodate a couple of professional crew.Access to the galley and to a generous cabin by way of the cockpit affords the crew genuine privacy.Forward of the saloon, the owner has a true suite, which still leaves two very good cabins amidships for guests. This dual role is also reflected on deck:the massive guest cockpit is never obstructed by controls, which are sent back to the area around the helming stations, above the sidedecks. On board, everything is treated as on a One-off:the professional fitting out of the galley, the light-filled environment and even the soundproofing of the engine-room.As for the integral garage, it enables a 3.85-m tender with its engine to be stowed in less than a minute, an arrangement generally reserved for a 90-foot monohull. Launched in 2014 after six months of offshore trials, seventeen CNB 76s have already been built. With the luxury of her amenities and her extensive customisation options, she is the direct descendant of CNB's One-offs.

    CNB 66

Taking on the family resemblance, the CNB 66 was designed as the largest sailing yacht that could be handled by a family crew. It can be equipped with the hydraulic roller-furling boom developed in an exclusive partnership with Hall Spars. Endowed with a carbon bowsprit, her elegant lines conceal an abundance of volume, exploited with all our know-how. This is the case, for example, in the owner's cabin, where the queen size island bed is offset to the side to remain invisible when the door is open. In the light-filled saloon that occupies the entire beam (5.50 m), the large, nearly 3-metre long sofa to starboard can be divided into three parts to increase the seating around the adaptable saloon’s massive table. As for the galley, we wished it to be practical, well ventilated, but in direct contact with the living space. Decoration and interior environments are designed by Jean-Marc Piaton and Rafael Bonet. Outside, there is clear separation between the lounging and handling areas. As on the One-offs, we have sought throughout to eliminate differences in level in order to facilitate movement without impairing safety. Finally, what sailing yacht of this size can boast a tender garage enabling the launching in less than a minute of a 3.25-metre tender with its engine?  Beyond question, the CNB 66 redefines what is possible with a 20-metre yacht. No wonder that even before she was launched, seven owners from Europe, Australia and Mexico put their faith in us.
