Descripción

“Dream Catcher” is one of twenty-eight racing/cruising sail boats built by the Hinckley Company from 1969 to 1971 and designed by Olin Stephens.  It is a two-owner boat purchased in 2001 by the current owners and updated continuously over the past eighteen years.

The H-38 is a sea kindly yacht with its 6,000 pounds of lead in the keel, its engine and batteries located below the sole and two 65 gallon water tanks located on port and starboard at the water line.  This results in a very stiff, stable and safe sailing boat. Her fine entry forward and high freeboard make sailing in rough weather conditions pleasant  with a remarkably dry ride.

“Dream Catcher” features a well designed interior that comfortably sleeps four adults. The main cabin features 6' 4" headroom, and is designed to convert from an open floor plan while under way, sporting a large bulkhead mounted table that unfolds to seat four adults for dinner, and two wide sleeping berths that pull out from port and starboard in the evening for two adults. There is a beautiful Hinckley tile fireplace in the main cabin to provide warmth when needed. The V-berth forward also provides comfortable sleeping quarters for two more and also provides ample storage and hanging locker space during cruises.  The storage capacity on this boat is impressive.

With her recent robin egg shell Awlgrip hull finish, her gorgeous Hinckley shear line, and her graceful overhangs, this classic yacht attracts notice wherever she sails, and is always the prettiest boat in the harbor.  Well found, well cared for, and ready for her next cruise, the horizon awaits.  Call today!
