Heavy displacement sailing cruiser with long keel and transom/skeg mounted rudder. Inboard Yanmar 3YM20, installed in 2005 offering reliability and economy. Deep safe cockpit with plentiful locker stowage. Below decks sleeps 5 in ease. Galley, chart table, forward cabin and separate heads. Deck stepped rig with slab reefing main and roller furling genoa. Navigation aids include chart plotter/GPS, DSC VHF, auto pilot, wind speed/direction and depth.
The Halmatic 30 is a sturdy, seaworthy cruising yacht with heavy displacement ballast keel. She is more than capable of handling the weather and sea conditions prevalent to our UK coastline. With her large deep cockpit, wide side decks, she is easy to get around. She is easily handled as a sole yachtsman and has a roller reefing genoa and a lazy bag mounted, slab reefing main. Below decks she can sleep 5 persons with ease. Decent galley with gas oven and a fridge that can become a freezer if required. The engine is a 2005, Yanmar 3YM20 and has completed 407 hours since. Navigation aids include a Garmin colour chart plotter, a Simrad tiller pilot, a NASA wind speed/direction and a DSC VHF.

Engine & Electrics
Vessel has a Yanmar 3YM20, inboard diesel engine with shaft driven 3-blade propeller.
This 18hp, fresh water cooled unit was installed in 2005 by a previous owner.
The engine is located beneath the companionway steps. Situated here is the start panel.
The engine has completed 407 hours and has been well maintained. Most recent service was in 2018.
Bank of 2x12V batteries. These have been replaced in the last two years and are fitted with isolators.
Batteries are recharged via the engine alternator or the on board smart charger.
Shore power with cable.
Sails & Rigging
Sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped anodised aluminium spars by Kemp.
Stainless steel standing rigging replaced in 2009.
Terylene running rigging in good order.
Slab reefing mainsail mounted in lazy bag on boom.
Roller furling headsail with UV strip.
Below decks is bright, airy and welcoming. The companionway steps are incorporated into the engine housing.
To port is the galley with gas fuelled oven, 2-burner hob and grill. Sink with pressurised hot and cold water.
Opposite galley is chart table with switch panel and instruments.
Saloon has a settee/berth to port and a U-shaped seating/dining area to starboard.
This area will convert to a double if required.
In the space between the saloon and the fore cabin is the large heads to starboard with sea toilet and sink unit.
Opposite is a wardrobe/hanging locker.
Bow cabin with two single berths with stowage beneath. 12V lighting throughout.
