This Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 523 in Spain is an extremely spacious, comfortable and seaworthy cruiser, ready to sail to any destination you propose. Only 2 owners: first one hardly sailed and second one sailed to the Med in 2013 and since then the boat is perfectly maintained and every year taken to the hard. Painted with Du-Pont system in 2021, shining now like new again. Yanmar engine in excellent condition, 2.300 engine hours. Handling is from the cockpit and the twin steering wheels allow the helmsman easy access to the controls and great visibility on either tack. Very generous accommodation with large, sociable saloon, a forward ensuite master cabin and two aft double berth ensuite cabins. There is also a crew cabin accessed by a deck hatch in the bow. V.A.T. Additional Description

The hull is single-skinned GRP construction. A structural inner moulding is bonded and laminated to the hull at various points. Its structural role is important as it takes and absorbs the stresses at pressure points (chain plate tie rods, keel, rudder etc.) and spreads any loads, guaranteeing reduced strain on the hull. ? The surface to the inner hull makes cleaning easier and provides a better finish. ? The structure of the hull with the inner moulding provides housing for the diesel and water tanks in the central part, enabling an optimised weight ratio and giving excellent control of the longitudinal stability of the boat.

The deck is balsa sandwich construction for an optimal strength/weight ratio and good thermal and sound insulation. - MOORING AND ANCHORING - ? Welded stainless steel bow fitting. ? Two bow rollers. The starboard roller is offset for permanent anchor stowage. ? Six 400mm aluminium mooring cleats and stainless steel protection to the teak capping (bow, amidships, stern). ? Self-draining chain well with eyebolt for bitter end. ? 1800W horizontal electric windlass with circuit breaker and 12V relay, and integral up and down controls. ? 12mm gypsy. ? Double opening hatch cover for ease of access. - BATHING PLATFORM AND AFT DECK - ? Dedicated locker for boxed liferaft stowage in on aft deck. ? Wet locker to port on aft deck. ?
