This Jeanneau 49 is probably one of the lowest engine hours and best condition SO49 to be on the market in the past five years or more.
She has been in New England waters all of her life, well maintained and looked after by a fastidious owner.
The Jeanneau SO49 has a beautiful teak interior with nice fit and finish not easily found in today's production boats. This three double stateroom, two head yacht has a very spacious along side galley to port with a huge settee for entertainment and dining.
The Jeanneau 49 has a very spacious main salon with an enormous settee that will comfortably sit 10 and a port along side galley with close to 12 feet of counter space. The galley has stove and oven, front opening large fridge with a separate large freezer box. Double stainless sinks of course with plenty of storage.
As you descend the companionway there is an extra large navigation stations to starboard that has one of the most comfortable ergonomic seats you might find in a 50 ft yacht.
To port at the bottom of the companionway is a very large head with two doors; one provides access from an aft double stateroom and the other is access from the main cabin.
Aft of the navigation station is another similar aft double stateroom.
Forward of the main salon, is a centerline queen double berth stateroom with en suite full head and separate show. There is a nice desk and vanity complimented with excellent hanging storage and drawers.
The interior fit and finish of this Jeanneau 49 harkens back to a decade where Jeanneau was building these boats mostly by hand and with an attention to detail that was better than other production boat builders.
The teak interior is real teak and looks rich and luxurious.
The bulk heads are robustly engineered and tabbed in where appropriate. The hull stringers are stronger and stiffer than some of the newer boats.
