This is a very well constructed sloop which was designed and built to sail anywhere in the toughest of conditions.
Her hull is built from steel sheets from 6 till 8 mm thickness. In some more loaded places it is up to 20 mm. Heavy lead fin keel gives her stability even in strong winds and allows to sail without reefing Mainsail in winds up to 40 kn. Comparatively light aluminum mast an boom also helps the yacht to be stable in heavy weather conditions. All this allows to sail comfortably even in rough sea and to be safe and confident about reaching your sailing destination.
The boat is built using experience and best techniques used in modern ship building such as “double deck” technology incorporating fuel, fresh water and grey water tanks in hull. All deck covered in teak 30 mm thickness, for thermal and noise protection are used modern insulation materials.
Interior and deck were built following the directions of traditional shipwright building, and rig using knowledge and experience of matured yachtsmen. The boat was built to sail with a minimum crew of two, but it is very good to sail with the team, gain sailing knowledge and teamwork experience.
The boat is equipped with the required equipment to do not depend on going back to the marina during the cruising periods; a generator and a water maker provide her the power and water. Recently installed solar panels give more power for all electric equipment and even more independence according energy sources. Lot of cooled storage places makes possible carry on board enough fresh food for long distance cruises. Big fuel and fresh water tanks allow also being independent on fueling points.
She has all needed systems for long and safe journeys over the seas. All main mechanical systems are placed in one spacious engine room, all electric connections provided in one main switchboard 24/220 V. After she was launched in water she carried on a lot of improvements: hard tops are installed instead textile sprayhoods over main and crew entrances, solar panels roofs over helmsman and cockpit, over deck stay tents, heating system for all under deck premises and so on.
She was built for comfortable long range cruising, no matter the sea and weather conditions. It gives a great opportunity to choose when and where to sail and be sure you reach your desired destination no matter what a surprises ocean will present to you during your journey.
