Sie ist ein echter Blauwasserkreuzer, konstruiert für weite Reisen, lange Ozeanpassagen und sichere Weltumsegelungen. Der schwere Rundspant-Stahlrumpf (6 mm, 20 mm am Kielboden), der Langkiel mit Skeg sowie die rund 20 Tonnen Verdrängung sorgen für außergewöhnliche Stabilität und ruhiges Verhalten in schwerem Wetter. Die tiefblaue AWL-Grip-Lackierung und das teakbelegte Cockpit verleihen ihr einen klassisch-maritimen Charakter, der überall auffällt. Zwischen 2023 und 2024 wurde ein sehr umfangreiches Refit durchgeführt. Der vollständig überholte Perkins M90 läuft zuverlässig und sparsam (ca. 4 l/h) und bietet eine Reichweite von ungefähr 900 Seemeilen unter Motor. Das Rigg stammt von Reckmann, im Cutter-Sloop-Layout, inklusive Hood-Segelgarderobe (Rollgroß, Genua, Kuttersegel). Sämtliche laufende Riggingteile wurden 2024 erneuert, zwei Spinnakerbäume sind am Mast montiert. Andersen-Winschen sorgen für effizientes und zuverlässiges Handling.
