It's Close to Downtown and all its restaurants and businesses (5 miute walk). And, walking distance to Freemont (20 minutes). The Moorage price is inexpensive as well.
It's an end moorage with amazing views of Downtown and Gas Works Park from it's cozy furnished deck.
There's a lot of important things about this boat. It's dry. The boat interior, exterior and bilge are dry. It has a fiberglass deck, and unlike wooden decks, there are no soft spots. There are no "smells", it feels clean. The Isinglass, Bimini, and all fabrics are new looking. The custom woodwork and wooden flooring is impeccable.
The last time it sold, I was the first to view it, I spoke to my wife and put in an offer that day. This is after months of viewing about 30 other boats. I hit the lottery and was lucky to find the nicest Moorage with the best views of Downtown Seattle. As you might know, it could take up to 5 years ti find a moorage space this size. There are none in Seattle, Gig Harbor, Anacortes, Everett or Port Townsend. Many marinas are not even accepting applicants on their 5 year waiting lists (call around). How did I get this moorage? Im not sure, I was in the right place at the right time. ALL of my boater friends are jealous asking "how did you get this?" And, it's transferable to you with a low great monthly rate. Look on this site, perhaps one in twenty boats for sale have transferable moorage.

This President 37 Sundeck is an aft cabin raised sundeck cruiser that offers a lot of space, solid teak joinery, and large windows for panoramic views. The hull is a modified V, which culminates in hard chines allowing for a shallow draft and stability for a boat of its size.
Wide side decks offer ease and safety moving forward or aft when docking or pulling fenders.
The sundeck and upper helm are completely enclosed with canvas (which is in VERY good condition!). And large Eisenglass windows (which are also in VERY good condition). They are perfectly clear making the views of the sea planes and Downtown lights magical. Offering excellent visibility and comfort for year-round cruising (and three season lounging). The full width sundeck is just three steps down; provideing seating and a small table. You have easy access to the decks via side canvas doors or to the main salon through the wide sliding door; this boat has a very open, yet “connected” feel
.The upper helm is equipped with electronics and controls for navigation and plenty of seating for guests to be comfortable while underway. There's brand new life jackets.
A perfect home.
Entering the salon, you are greeted with warm teak throughout the interior. There is a brand new large fold out sofa. All of the furniture inside and out is brand new. The lower helm is starboard. Compartments, a magazine rack, chart storage and drawers surround the salon. The teak throughout the boat is in very good condition. The salon has large windows with custom drapes; when uncovered the salon and front windows provide loads of light, giving the space an open, spacious feeling.
The U-shaped galley and dinette are forward and down three steps. Everything is new and included (induction stove, pots, pans, silverware, new microwave, and so much more. There's nothing you will need and everything is new.
Located to port, is the dinette which converts to an additional berth. To starboard is the Princess three- burner electric stove/oven, induction stove, a large side-by-side stainless steel sink, counter space with storage above and below, a large Norcold refrigerator/freezer (12v/120v) and a new microwave completes the working space. Built in storage and additional space underneath the floor hatches combine to create lots of storage for the boats cleaning supplies (also included).
Forward of the galley is the guest stateroom and ensuite head (with private access to the guest stateroom or may be considered a day head). All of the fabrics on the boat look amazing (beds, dinette, sifa). The berths are non-traditional bunks over/under bunks with a small settee. Built-in bookshelves, drawers, hanging locker and space under the bunks provide additional storage area. The head compartment includes an ELECTRIC flush toilet, sink and shower wand.
The main stateroom with ensuite head is aft with a large island double (hinged for easy access to the hot water heater and water tank). An electric "fireplace" adds both ambience and warmth on chilly evenings. Hanging lockers, drawers, and bookshelves surround the stateroom. The head with separate shower, sink and ELECTRIC flush toilet is to port; it is quite large for a boat of this size.
The twin Cummins 6BTA engines, the Northern Lights generator and Wabasto diesel heater are easily accessed underneath the salon hatches.
All new Batteries installed last month. Anyone that has owned a Yacht knows the costs and work this involves.
