  3. Catana 90

    Catana 90

    Barcelona, España
    2008
    €2.208.480

En route to Europe ~ May 2021 Owner of Orion is motivated to sell her at this time and looking for serious offers with trade proposals considered! She is in top condition and replacement cost would be well over $8 million.  We think she is the best deal on the market at this time for a performance voyaging catamaran in this size range.  For someone wanting to turn her into a profit making charter cat there is a very simple way to take her from a 6 guest charter cat to a 12 guest charter cat. She could quickly be changed into a profit machine, and would stand out in the world of charter cats as the Grand Dame of true sailing machines.  ORION is a marvel to behold, unique in every respect and represents thousands and thousands of hours of design and construction technique. She is unquestionably the finest Catana ever built and very likely the finest catamaran of her size ever built! Unlike so many custom catamaran projects, cooked up by men with big dreams, big budgets, but little experience, Orion was built for a seasoned seaman who owned two previous catamarans, including a Catana 582 that he sailed around the world. He knew what it was like to live on a cat, voyage on a cat, care for a cat and sail a cat through massive seas and winds. He set out in partnership with Christophe Barreau, the famed naval architect for Catana, to create his dream boat.  It took thousands of hours to design Orion and many more thousands to build her.   Orion is a tried and true blue water luxury cat. The crew sails her conservatively and average about 250 miles a day during her many ocean passages. Her best one day run to date is 310 miles. She will sail easily in the high teens while in protected waters, and the crew throttles her back to 12-15K while ocean sailing. Orion has been in light charter in Europe and the Caribbean and is US Imported and thus able to charter in US waters.  Phil Berman was in France to personally inspect Orion and met with her build captain who lived in Canet (near the Catana factory) during the construction of the yacht to oversee every aspect of her build.  What is most striking when you first approach Orion is that she looks almost identical to smaller Barreau designed Catana 65's and 50's, but sits off the water so high that, yes, she has two floors in her tall hulls - a first in catamarans! This has two unique advantages.  First, all of the technical equipment is under the floor, out in the open where the crew can simply walk up to the pumps, water maker, etc... making maintenance a breeze.   Second, all of the above floor space is open and used simply for the crew and guests.  There is not one cupboard filled with an air conditioning unit or any other equipment.  Instead, all of the cabin space is for guests and the technical equipment is below the floor.  The crew reports that this has worked out wonderfully and cannot imagine going back to a standard catamaran. The bridge deck of the yacht hosts a massive salon and galley.  The enormous hulls contain owner's cabins, guest cabins and crew quarters while the lower floor of the yacht is devoted entirely to systems:  watermakers, generators, inverters, wiring, plumbing, etc. Every system on the yacht is easily accessed for care and repair.  Orion is the most carefully thought out large catamaran I have ever had the pleasure to inspect regarding her systems and of course like all Catana cats she sports a massive carbon fiber mast, high tech sails, dagger boards and more! You could not possibly upgrade Orion in a single area because not a penny was spared during her fabrication.   Please contact our office for her exact location to arrange a showing!

  6. Balance 760 F Catamaran

    Balance 760 F Catamaran

    Split, Croacia
    2017
    €3.090.989

Fresh from the design board of award-winning catamaran designer Anton Du Toit comes the Balance 760, a luxury performance fly-bridge catamaran designed for high-speed world voyaging. Skimmer is the first of the new Balance range of large semi-custom catamarans. As with all Balance Catamarans, Skimmer's design brief is centered on achieving a perfect balance between comfort at anchor and performance underway. She is designed to average speeds of 12 to 20 knots easily under sail, without effort - no racing crew required. During her sea trials in January 2017, with South Easter winds of 20-25 knots, Skimmer achieved boat speeds of 28 to 30 knots with the code zero up. When the wind eased to 15 knots the speed fell to around 18 to 20 knots. Skimmer sails comfortably in most conditions and will sit in and sail averages well over 15 knots in the trade winds. Under power she runs fuel efficiently in the 10 to 11 knot range, making her an ideal expeditionary catamaran for those who really want to go places in style. Skimmer, like all Balance Catamarans, is built with only the finest materials. She is E-glass, carbon reinforced, foam core, and epoxy resins are used in her hulls and decks. All her cabinet grade furniture is foam sandwich. The end result is a 76 foot Catamaran that looks and feels like a luxury yacht inside and out but comes in at just 34 tons fully loaded with all of the creature comforts you would expect to find on a yacht of this size. Skimmer is currently located in Croatia and is ready for immediate sale!

  9. Lagoon 380

    Lagoon 380

    Split, Croacia
    2015
    €203.180

More info and video walkthrough coming soon! 2015 Lagoon 380   Wild Rice is located in Croatia. The owners began to outfit her for long-term cruising, but their plans changed and they’ll have to return to dry land for the next few years. The opportunity is yours to take stewardship of one of the best-kept examples of a 380 on the market today.   Wild Rice spent her first couple of years as a charter cat, managed by a certified Volvo Penta service center, which is also an official Lagoon Catamaran dealer and service center. She has been maintained incredibly well since new, and her most recent owners, a family of three, took stewardship a year ago and turned her into a comfortable cruising home and (remote) office.   Wild Rice is an incredibly clean example of a 380 with the condition of gel-coat more commonly found on a 2018 or 2019 boat. I often use Wild Rice as an example for clients to demonstrate how nice a Lagoon catamaran can be.   She is a four cabin, two head version, with an additional 2 compartments for crew at the bow (which also serves as generous storage space). She’s equipped with upgraded Volvo Penta engines (that sound and look like new), hardtop, solar, and Webasto heating system in each pontoon.   Her owners have recently had the engines services by a certified Volvo Penta Service center (less than 100 hours ago), applied International Micron 350 antifoul (August 2021). Additionally, they’ve added a Rocna 33kg anchor, AMEC Widelink B600 Class B AIS transponder, Pepwave MAX Transit Category 18 LTE Router, Navionics 2021 Maps Update, Voltage Rectifier, Main Power safety breaker, Magma BBQ, liferaft, and more.   The Lagoon 380 is the world’s most sought after small cruising cat. Very forgiving, stable, and easy to mange single-handedly; it's easy to recognize their popularity after a day on the water with one.  If you’re interested in buying one of the most looked after 380’s on the market, look no further.   Engine hours:

  10. Catana 58

    Catana 58

    Athens, Grecia
    2010
    €1.099.000

"Fantastic!"...."Absolutely Brilliant." These are the first words to come to mind upon stepping aboard this wonderful Catana 58. Nastia is the final of 29 produced 58's and has been upgraded in every aspect (see full specifications) as such, she is no longer your typical factory-produced 58! Nastia is EU VAT paid and wears a Maltese Flag. Nastia has had one owner since her conception and was built with 3 cabins + Owners Version Cabin for added comfort and privacy. Upgrades are visible the moment you step into her saloon-style layout. The owner has replaced an impractical settee on the starboard side with modern cabinetry that holds loads of additional storage space, dishwasher, a washing machine and has opened the interior space with a cool white color. Flooring has been recently updated with marine vinyl laminate, while marine cork was used to replace the cockpit and sugar scoops’ teak deck. To separate the working space from the living space, the Skipper’s Cabin located in the starboard cabin was turned into a large workshop with a nice working table and neatly stored tools and ropes. This space can be easily reverted to skipper’s cabin if necessary. There are two large compartments in the bows that hold all the sails/ropes/fenders. Nastia comes upgraded with many carbon fiber parts. Carbon fiber mast by Alucarbon, Custom made carbon fiber daggerboards, carbon fiber cockpit table and chairs and complete hardtop in carbon fiber. Carbon fiber upgrades provide the boat with weight savings which in the end will allow much better performance and efficiency than the standard factory version. As such, her hardtop now weighs only 90kgs. Further, the owner worked closely with the Catana yard during her building process to ensure she has reinforced bulkheads and weight carrying structural parts. Brand new Volvo folding Gori propellers allowed her to glide through water at 1340 rpm (both engines) and maintained the speed between 7.5-8 knots with a bit of wind in the stern. Electronics are upgraded, halyards are replaced with Dyneema and Harken winches throughout the boat with a large three speed electric winch in the cockpit (shame they don’t produce three speed anymore as this was probably the best they every made). Nastia is a large 58 foot owner’s version built to cruise around the world, as such she has an extremely well thought-out design. Further, the owner has redesigned her saloon in order to maximize her storage and equipment space. Tasteful details have been added in all interior spaces through the years and her interior now looks like a true yacht designer’s masterwork. The owner has also upgraded to a Mastervolt pack of lithium batteries with about a kilowatt and a half of flexible solars and an almost new Fisher generator. Nastia has everything one would need to safely circumnavigate the world in speed and comfort. In short, Nastia has every possible piece of high-end equipment you can add to a performance cruising cat!

    €370.141 (Venta pendiente)

HUGE PRICE DROP TO $419,000 owners heading North from Grenada to Leewards- Virgins and are motivated to sell, contact me to schedule a viewing, this lovely classic catamaran now offers great value for money. Are you looking for a big safe stable catamaran to transport your family to The Bahamas, Caribbean or around the world? Look no further! This catamaran is not to be confused with later Lagoon models that were designed for the mass charter market, she is a very fine semi-custom, strong sailing yacht built to very high standards and it shows. The ground breaking design and style of these Lagoons changed the luxury catamaran market when they were launched, no expense spared with real wood interiors, carbon fibre/kevlar re-inforcement and put together by real craftsmen, 23 years later they still turn heads with their classic lines and stunning sailing performance. As the previous Captain/Engineer of this boat I personally undertook a large refit of this amazing boat in 2018 including new hull to deck joint fastenings in stainless steel, custom teak toe rail fabrication, complete hull re-finish in Awlgrip "Snow White", custom fabrics and sail covers, new upgraded Yanmar D-4JH5T turbo engines and SD50 sail-drives in 2012 serviced yearly, contact me directly with all your questions, maintained with an open checkbook, lots of maintenance history and photos available. This catamaran motors on one engine at 8 knots @2500 rpm and 10 knots with both engines that 240 miles per day range, under sail she will easily make 7 knots in 15 knots of apparent and 10-12 knots SOG is not unusual when the wind blows, she is very nicely set up for single handing with a big Harken electric winches at the mast and in the cockpit, nice modern Raymarine suite of electronics and a brand new reconditioned Northern Lights 12kw generator. Meet 'Ad Astra', a legendary Lagoon 57. From the famed VPLP stable, the 57 is a fast and robustly built ocean cruiser, yet with a high degree of comfort and luxury for all onboard. Beautifully finished, 'AdAstra' has benefitted from frequent upgrades and refits. Please refer to her full specifications, to see all that has been done. New in 2021 Northern Lights 12kw Generator NL M843NW3 1420 solar panels 2x Victron Solar controllers with 'bluetooth Rocna 40 Primary Anchor New 2019 Zar mini 13ft tender with 25hp Yamaha 2 stroke outboard Water maker, full air conditioning throughout, recent hardtop, Code 0, spinnaker, fresh paint job and many recent upgrades, are but a few of this appealing yacht's features. 'Ad Astra' has operated in the Caribbean, for a number of years, as a very successful crewed charter yacht. Her professional full-time crew have maintained her to a high degree, as is to be expected of a high-end charter vessel. Whilst she would make for a superb world voyager, she could just as easily re-enter the luxury crewed charter market, currently family owned who's situation has changed and she is very reluctantly for sale again.
