This 1986 Morgan Classic 41 is officially 'turn-key' and ready for your island-hopping dream to begin now!   THE VALUE ADVANTAGE: COMPARING "APPLES TO APPLES"Comparing boat prices can be difficult. To bring a standard Morgan 41 up to Dream Maker's "Turn-Key" offshore specifications, you would need to invest over $66,400 in hardware alone (not including the high cost of labor and shipping).   Cost of Upgrades Already Installed for Cruising Standards: Total Added Value: $66,400+ in material costs plus installation. ·       Diesel Generator: $9,500 + installation ·       Watermaker: $7,000 + installation ·       Standing Rigging & Furler: $12,000 ·       Dinghy,15hp Outboard & chaps: $11,200+ ·       Aluminum arch for dinghy, solar panels 600 watts and wind generator: $14,000 ·       Stainless steel lifeline of 1" tubing: $700  ·       Stainless steel foldable ladder at midship: $1,000 ·       Full Cockpit Enclosure: $5,000+ ·       SS Port Lights from New Found Metals (17): $6,000 + installation   By choosing Dream Maker, you aren't just buying a boat; you are skipping the 6-month "refit" period and the massive retail expense of equipping a coastal boat for the islands. She is ready to sail the day you step aboard. Start your adventure in paradise with Dream Maker, the ACTUAL COVER GIRL ON SAILBOAT-CRUISING'S WEBSITE MORGAN PROFILE. (Unbeknownst to us but we are flattered!) Fully equipped and ready to go! Turnkey, and built for the long haul, Dream Maker is a rare 'Classic' variant that proves you don’t have to sacrifice speed for space—all at an affordable price. Dream Maker has been our home for 20 years of liveaboard cruising and now she needs a new owner who will love her as much as we do. Mr Blue Sky gets admiring looks wherever it goes but due to a change of plans, our beloved Elan 50ft monohull is for sale. Currently located in Antigua after sailing over from the mediterranean with the ARC last year, we have decided to stay in the Caribbean longterm and no long need such a capable yacht. She is EU taxed paid so if you want to enjoy it this year in the Caribbean and sail it back to Europe as a tax paid boat, this would be a great option! Designed by Rob Humphrey of Oyster yacht fame, MBS is a twin rudder GRP yacht with all the kit needed to carry on around the world if that's what you want to do. MBS has 4 cabins with a large forward owners cabin, a twin bunk cabin at midships and 2 large stern doubles. The 2 heads compartments have shower units and there is a hot shower (new) near the bathing platform. We use the pullman bunk cabin for storage when at anchor and then clear this for passage making with a crew. The galley has a new fridge (2024) and 2 taps, one for the front tanks for drinking water supplied by the water maker and a hot and cold tap run from the rear tanks bothe with independent pumps and filters. The rear tanks can be topped up from the front tanks by an electric pump. A stainless solar arch was added by integrating into the guardrails so looks 'factory' with 4 Vicron panels, each with its own mppt controller and the mains inverter was upgraded to the Victron multiplus 2KW that kicks-in as soon as shorepower is disconnected. For redundancy underway, the original chain driven Jeffa autopilot that is linked to the starboard helm was supplimented by a separate new Garmin class B autopilot driving the port side helm with new 'Reactor 40' computer. It is possible to switch from one autopilot to the other in about 5 minutes. The engine has over 4000 hours but has been very well maintained and had a huge service before the ARC and another this summer before launching. The head sails include a hybrid code zero from Doyle in 2023, a storm jib, a white self tacking furling jib from 2018 and an overlapping jib black coloured from Hyde sails from 2023. The main sail is a white furling dacron sail from 2019. The rig has partial new standing rigging with the D's, the back stay and the forestay renewed with an additional inner-forestay added prior to the ARC crossing. All running rigging is less than 12 months old. The manual head sail furler was upgraded to Seldens electric system in 2023 and the winch used to furl the mainsail was also replaced with Seldens 3 speed electric winch in 2024. The bow thruster was rebuilt with new brushes, solenoid and control switch in 2024. A huge amount was spent over the past 2 years getting ready for the ARC so ask me for a list. See the video link for a video of a sistership, the ´494´ was renamed the ´50´ but is similar in almost every way except for the lifting TV unfortunately. A survey was carried out in May 2025 for insurance purposes and the boat was valued at USD350,000 but is offered at a considerable discount to that figure for a quick sale.
