Descripción

Feeling 22 sailing yacht for sale, trailerable 7.20-metre cabin sailboat The Feeling 22, also known as the Feeling 720, is a compact and cleverly designed cabin sailboat from the French yard Feeling Yachts. This 1985 model combines manageable dimensions with surprisingly generous interior space and practical equipment, making it an attractive choice for sailors looking for a trailerable sailboat for lakes, inland waterways and sheltered coastal areas. With a length of 7.20 metres and a beam of 2.70 metres, this Feeling offers a stable platform on the water, while the layout and sail plan are geared towards easy handling with a small crew. Kirie Feeling 22 now in the online auction. Anyone can bid up to and including 18 May 2026. Design, dimensions and trailerability At 7.20 metres in length, the Feeling 720 is large enough to spend a comfortable weekend or short holiday on board, yet compact enough to keep logistics straightforward. The 2.70-metre beam contributes to a spacious feel in the cabin and gives the boat a solid stance under sail. A key advantage is the variable draft: thanks to the keel/centreboard concept, the draft can vary from around 70 cm to approximately 140 cm. This makes the sailboat particularly suitable for shallow lakes and inland waters, and for areas where you like to anchor close to shore or enter a harbour with limited depth. The sale includes a road trailer without registration, fitted with four rollers. This greatly increases flexibility: you can store the boat at home, easily transport it to another cruising area, and start the season wherever you like. There is also equipment available to assist with stepping the mast, including an additional mast/support that makes rigging and de-rigging more practical. Sailing characteristics and rig The Feeling 22 is known as a pleasant-sailing cabin yacht with user-friendly handling. The aluminium mast carries a straightforward sail plan with mainsail and genoa. The genoa is equipped with a reefing system, making it easier to reduce sail and adapt to changing wind conditions. This type of rig suits sailors who want quick, simple trimming without complex systems, and it also makes the boat interesting for singlehanded sailing or sailing as a couple. On lakes and inland waters, the character of this design really comes into its own: quick response to helm and trim input, easy tacking, and a steady, track-true feel once the boat is up to speed. The cockpit is self-draining, which adds comfort and safety in spray or rain. Engine and manoeuvring For harbour manoeuvres and relaxed motoring, the boat is equipped with an 8 hp Honda outboard engine (year of manufacture 1999), manual start, with two cylinders. The fuel tank has a capacity of 12 litres and the stated cruising speed is around 10 km/h. An outboard in this power range is well suited to a trailerable sailboat: it is relatively easy to use, provides sufficient thrust for entering and leaving harbours, and is practical for maintenance and winter storage. On-board comfort and layout Inside, the Feeling 720 offers four fixed berths, making this cabin sailboat suitable for a family or for two people who appreciate extra space. The headroom of approximately 1.60 metres is typical for this segment and makes time on board functional for cooking, changing clothes and sheltering in poorer weather. There is no toilet on board (N/A), which for some buyers is a deliberate choice: more space, fewer systems and a simpler usage profile, especially on lakes with good shore facilities. Electronics, power and navigation The boat has a 12V onboard electrical system with an 80 Ah battery. For energy management, there are provisions such as a battery charger, inverter, voltmeter, wind generator and solar panel. This makes it possible to remain more self-sufficient on trips and power basic consumers without constantly relying on shore power. For navigation, an autopilot, depth sounder and compass are on board—an ideal combination for relaxed cruising and longer legs on open water. Deck equipment and usage possibilities On deck you will find, among other things, a teak deck, guardrails, bow and stern pulpits, and a swim ladder, making time in the cockpit and boarding comfortable. One anchor is included with chain and line, suitable for anchoring in sheltered spots. The electric bilge pump supports everyday use and provides extra reassurance in case of water in the bilge. This Feeling 22 has mainly been used on lakes, including Lake Neusiedl, making it a logical choice for anyone looking for a sailboat for inland waters and recreational cruising. Thanks to the trailer, variable draft and complete basic equipment, this is a versatile cabin yacht for sailors seeking freedom in both cruising area and planning.
